Artist-in-residence program of Art Today Association (Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv www.arttoday.org and < rotor > association for contemporary art, Graz, Austria http://rotor.mur.at
Short description of the project: Art Today Association (Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv and < rotor > association for contemporary art, Graz, Austria have launched joint artist-in-residence program for 2006. One Bulgarian and one Austrian artist will take part in it. They will reside one month respectively in Graz, Austria and Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The program aims at activating the relation between artists and artistic community, creating new contacts and opportunity for future projects.
Art Today Association (Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv) gathers applications for the Bulgarian participant in the program, who will reside for a month in Graz, Austria. Artists from every field, without restriction of the media can apply. It is not compulsory that a project should be realized during the stay. At the end of the residency the artist will make a presentation of his/her work and the projects he/she has realized.The Bulgarian resident is invited to stay in Graz between 27th of February and 31st of March 2006. An apartment, located in the very center of the town, will be at his/her disposal. Covered are the travelling costs (train tickets or cheap plane), also 25 Euro is the daily allowance to maximum of 700 Euro for the whole stay.

Art Today Association presents for the third time ART POSITIVE, exhibiting authors working in Plovdiv. The theme of this edition is
"Light". Author and organizer - Art Today Association.
The new edition of ART POSITIVE exhibition is coming in April and May in the Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv. It is a projects that presents authors of contemporary art who works in Plovdiv. The theme is „Light“. The attention will be focused on this position of light when it is at the same time the Theme, the Idea, the Means of expression and the Material in the artwork.

The last, seventh edition of the Literary Serial
19th November (Saturday), at 18.00.
Two literary installations will be presented: „Non accoustical“, author Maria Radulova and „Narrowing of the road“ a reading room for the poetical cycle „osht“, author Veselina Sarieva. The literary installations will stay at the Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv until 26th November 2005.
The event is organized with the support of the Swiss cultural program in Bulgaria and in cooperation with Art Today Association.

Presentation of the activity of the
Center for contemporary art Skopje by video and photo documentation. Nikola Pisarev i Anita Ivkovik will present the activity of the Center for contemporary art Skopje (and its CIX Gallery) during the period 1998-2005. During 1998-2003 the CIX gallery was one of the most productive art spaces in Macedonia. The presentation is part of the archive of the Center for contemporary art Skopje. It will show contemporary art by Macedonian artists and realized projects in the Center.

First edition of the International Project for Low and High Technics in Contemporary Art. Under the topic: “Critique of Pure Image – Between Fake and Quotation”, curated by Dimitrina Sevova. The project is composed of three parts: an international exhibition, a theoretical meeting and an international workshop.
