ataArt Today Association presents in the Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv, Ancient Bath the project „Art Positive 2005“ with the title „CD – way of usage“. Author of the concept is Yohannes Artinian (artpositive.arttoday.org).
Opening on 4th April (Monday) at 18.00, with a life sound by res & mloski (jisatsuken.cult.bg). The exhibition will continue until 15th May. Artists who live and work in Plovdiv will present their artworks. The project is realised with the support of the Swiss cultural program in Bulgaria, Municipality of Plovdiv and „Star nails“ company.

ataArt Today Association announces the results from the jury of the projects for participation in „Art Positive 2005“ exhibitions. The project of Veselina Sarieva and Georgi Lazarov “Make data disk / CD burn” wins the association's support for implementation. 31 authors presented 39 projects that will exposed in the Center for contemporary art – Plovdiv from 04.04.2005. For “reality shows” fans, for those confided in the audio-visual products, for the satiated by familiar views, for the bored of “the white cube”, for those who has forgotten themselves, for the rationally confused, for those who can be hardly provoked, for the inter-active, for the brave in March. The Labyrinth creates surroundings where the visual and sound effects provoke confusion, cause many associations, set new relations and choices – where to go, how to act. Real spatial metaphor of life where everyone fails surprised, to a great extent unprepared and alone. The project is realized with the financial support of Pro Helvetia and “Face for art and culture” foundation - Sofia.


ataOn 25th and 26th November 2004 Center for media arts Interspace in the partnership of Art Today Association organizes a seminar for art management "The Cult.bg model". It will take place in Plovdiv in the premises of the Wood-economic Chamber (1st Bankova Str, floor 3, on the corner of Biohim Bank and the Main Street). The seminar aims to introduce to the representatives of different organizations, working in the cultural and artistic sphere, the advantages of Internet for presentation of their work and management of their projects. On the seminar "The model Cult.bg" is presented? a project that has the resources and potential to help the promotion and better management of work of the cultural and artistic organizations. The seminar for art management ?The Cult.bg model? has been supported by the Swiss Cultural Program in Bulgaria and the participation in it is free of charge. It will take place in another four big cities: Bourgas, Dobritch, Veliko Tarnovo and Blagoevgrad.
